Another professional shoot – this time it was a wedding vows renewal for a very unique and wonderful couple. The Bartletts first met and danced at a civil war reenactment – well, not the battle but after during the dancing celebration and specifically the Virginia Reel. So ten years later after falling in love and marrying, they decided to renew their vows and hold a wedding ceremony at the same annual Battle of Rasca reenactment. The ceremony happened in the evening and everyone was not only dressed up but in character. Marie is also a fabulous seamstress and made her own dress and her husband’s Union Army uniform. There were people all around and I enjoyed capturing not only the moments of the wedding but the spectators and dancers. Enjoy.
